Cezzane

Cezzane

In the wakeness of their times
Through evolution of man and art
Paris 1800’s old ways changing fast
To redefine and readapt
And learn to think anew

Through the life force of the times
Energetic vigor of lifes debates
To break the molds and recast anew
To look again in whole new ways
Till  object of subject were never
same

Cezanne was part and also led
went outside to find the way
out into the hills and fields of day

cast away the schools that taught
without perspective of lines of thought
to capture what was here and now
as directly as one could do
with his mind eye and brush

passing the gardens  of suffle
luxenberg statues  on display
fountain
water  sprays  on shoulders
and breast reflect the light

turning green under
the flaming sun of age

garden flowers bloom
colors burst within their sermons
near the chesnut blossoms falling
where little French children play hand in hand
near benches beside the grey gravel

morning wakes before the dawn
land of ambrose within its dream
drinking deeply of earthen light
opening deep its silent pores

spring blossoming wheat
wavering easely in the morning air
dance within the shadows of its light
between the dust of time
multitudes of color in light and shade
leaves tremble on waters edge
moveing slidengly across the wind
in its naked stillness
Quiet roads that ever speak
Amongst the orchads of falling leaves
