Moderation

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Let's call it out for what it is!

'Let's call,
What out...
For what it is?'

Moderation.

'Okay.
MODERATION!'

Now,
Tell me this...
Did you feel more or less of it was needed?

'That did not occur to me.
Since it was only moderation,
I had on my mind...
To call it out for what it is to be.'

Exactly.
And you found it unnecessary,
For me to define what it meant to mean!

'I don't get it.'

You don't get it?
Then...
Why do something,
Anything!
Without asking to get an explanation?
With it to expect someone else,
Should know what's on 'your' mind.
To read between lines,
You don't know are there!

'This...
Makes no sense.'

Tell me about it.
And people everywhere are accusing others,
For having a lack of empathy.
Understanding.
And an ability to ignore them quicker,
Than attempt to read...
What is kept in their minds,
Not theirs but belongs to someone...
They neither met nor know,
But expect their excuses to make accepted!

'Go away.
Just leave me alone.'

Oh?
So...
Now you just want me to go away?
Like nothing between us happened.

'WHAAAT!?'

Sure.
Go ahead.
Play stupid.
After involving me in YOUR ignorance...
You want ME to go away.
Disappear in thin air!
Who...
Who was it that said,
Call it out for what it is?
To then hear you reply...
A not knowing to want more or less of it!?
Admit it.
You didn't know.
To then claim not to get enough.
And...
Check this out,
Everywhere I go...
I am the one accused for living my life,
In a moderation I am enforced and kept...
To keep aware of it from Sunrise to Sunset.
And dawns in between!

'What dawns?
There are no other 'dawns'...
Between Sunrise and Sunset!'

There you go.
You folks always trying to tell someone else,
What, when, how, why and when...
To experience their own lives to live it!

'What is this?
WHAT IS THIS?'

One day,
You will be calling it 'Reality'!
