His Return

Don't you think it's time
For God's Son to return,
Don't you think it's time
For God's Son to return ?
like people killing each other, like it's no crime,
Countries needs a champion to stop the acts of wanton

Ever since Cain's famous words
"Am I my brother's keeper" ?
The world sets no real standards
Evil kills, not guns should be our healer !

Live and let live some say
But we need laws to protect us all.
Are we just bodies with no feelings or a hunk of clay ?
73 million abortion last year, are we like  paper dolls ?

Is life precious anymore ?
I always thought love conquers all,
Living a life of 4 score  and more
Should be our aim and not a pitfall !

Evil reigns with all of us in the world,
It is winning all the battles of war,
Agape love is the answer for the battled,
Love from God, so sacrificial and exhibits action !

Agape love is a selfless love,
Putting others ahead of yourself,
It is not a feeling, we are to be imitators of God,
Reading the Bible is one thing, but doing it is another !

So agape love is built on other's needs,
You don't really give until it hurts,
It is better to give than receive
A worker not ashamed for the effort !

For whosoever shall give a cup of water in my name
Because he belongs to Christ
He shall not lose his reward ! Matt 10 : 42
