Aged Interpretations

More difficult it becomes to feel,
Empathy, love and concern for another.
Especially...
If that another other,
Happens to be a close friend or relative.
Who has lived their blessings of life to receive,
On a taking what they have been given...
To waste and thoughtlessly take for granted.

Gifted they were born with expertise to be,
String pulling manipulating heartbreakers!

And there is nothing if anything at all,
That someone who has grown older...
Can say from experience to teach it learned.
As they sit, stand or walk away,
To hear with a head to shake.
The same words heard to them spoken.
Many years ago.
To come out of their very own mouths!
Spoken to someone else.

'This is my life to experience it.
If I wanted your advice...
I would pay to see a psychiatrist.
Before I allowed my mind,
To become that messed up and crazed!'

Leaving the ones to have grown to age,
Believed to have obtained wisdom to gain.
Dismissed, disrespected and ignored.
Although...
Very few still budding through their youth.
And hanging onto a fading bloom.
Could care less as to who has wisdom.
How that wisdom has been achieved.
Or...
Who it was to have lived to experience,
A time to gloss over and glamorize.
With only lip service to produce.
As eyes,
Drift in a reminiscing glistening fixed stare.
And no one else there,
Alive with backup of evidence.
That proves the exaggerating of facts!

'Keeping your trust in those,
You can rely upon to tell you the truth?
Will always be of benefit to you!
Comprehend to understand,
The meaning of that.
Until life to live makes it clearly understood.'

'So sad.
The withering away of a mind to fade.
So sad are you old folks.
Wanting so bad to share your interpretations,
Of what has come to go so fast.
It is incredible,
The speed if time.
And,
How you want to wish us young people...
To just up and leave our reality.
For visions to fiction your past to have had...
As so great,
You and 'your' generation...
Couldn't wait to destroy it.
Look around.
How many of us,
Have you witnessed to observe are that stupid?
And...
As a word of advice?
Don't take a wasting of time you ain't got,
To do it either, pops!'

'Me?
I would never think to believe,
You young people are that stupid.
That dumb.
And that distant way from reality.
No.
No way.
Maybe...
A little misinformed.
With an accepting your limited consciousness,
As a brilliant reflection of ignorance shared.'

'Oh, okay.
That's a better way to put it.
'Cause we ain't stupid!'
