Thoughts and Prayers

Thoughts and prayers, we hear
that way too often these days.
It's sad when mass shootings
become the norm.
One party looks for solutions,
closing loopholes, assault weapons ban.
The other party sends thoughts
and prayers as they take a picture
with their AR-15.
They shrug their shoulders, saying
we can't do anything, as they
greedily take their 30 pieces of
silver from the NRA.
