The striving Zimbabwe and the opposition

Desmond muzite 2002 (Rusape)

They refuse to see us going without a slavery chain.
They refuse to see us going without a yoke.
They refuse to see us going without being colonized.
They refuse to see us going without their rule.
They refuse to see our feathers grow.

They want to rule over many countries.
and still dreaming to keep us in darkness
and ignorance.
They shade blood and make theirselfs
the image of God and the Devine of
all the races, Because of us they’re rich yet they
lie and steal from us, as long as they’re not caught

Now poverty goes for generations
we yell out because we were thirsty
and they gave us a bitter cup but now
what comes, comes as we are
going to stand up unstoppable,
untouchable, unmovable, inescapable
and unshakable. We shall rise again and again
