The birth of a strong self

David Rosales 1988 (Comayagua)

Within the castles terrible of dreams
That from the shadows haunt our waking world
A tailor grim and fell fashions the seams
Of mantles motley covering the fold

A bright and luminous white specter brings
Fond tidings from beyond the golden gates
Azure fine jewels bedeck the herald's wings
Whose mighty gust orients anew our fates

Refashioned thus our bodies newly shine
As if no blemish could our skin now stain
And moving forth into the day our fine
Steps mark the ground made hallow by our train

Come now and join the ranks of those who shall
not die, and laugh for though shalt never fall.
