I am on an island

I am on an island alone and free
Open ocean is all my eyes see
I am happy I believe
Or am I being deceived
I am on an island alone
Just me all unknown
No one will come to the rescue
And sometimes I have the best view
But my island does not sit still
It moves as if it has its own will
I hate it here sometimes
Silent as a mime
No one hears me scream and rage
My desperation is lost in sandy beige
