The Saviour of The Field

Ode
The reinforcements had not arrived
They had long awaited
Many thought they wouldn't have survived
As things got heated

He finally came on his humble steed
With our men cheering,
Supplies had finally come.
The tide of the battle changed with speed
We moved forward while he was clearing,
Cleaning our way forward as we all sung his name in a hum
