Race With Time

Over the years time has been demonstrated as a race
Stress is surging, you’re against the clock in a competitive chase
Our time is restricted to one lifespan
Eons have passed since it all began
Mother Nature is howling in our face
Our time is fleeting, we need to slow the pace
We’re only given one unique opportunity, we simply cannot replace
Detriment to the entire ecosystem caused by man
Over the years the limit has been exhausted
Might as well familiarize yourself with the scorching embrace
Geological education is our only saving grace
There should be no difficulty in grasping the effect on Japan
Temperature drastically climbing, nobody adhering to the plan
The scientists bold enough to advocate for change are seen as a disgrace
Over the years time is changing, accelerating and decelerating at a constant pace
