Hues

Essence of sweet grief petrichor had
Prevailed deserted beach of sand
Stood there both in all the blues
Watching the dusky sun in hues

Silken hearts shredded to pieces of thread
Kept their interwining pattern as said
Dawn, clouds, rain filling sea with glee
After wholesome came destined to be

With glorious twilight, their steps parted
Welled eyes left them heavy hearted
An ominous cloud with suppressed shout
Darkened sky, alarming the rain out

Perhaps vapours of sea, sop parting ceremony
Enrich the land, as self-proclaimed testimony
Moonlight will glitter shells on sand
Yet none to witness heavenly land
