The Metaphysical Origin of the Universe

Karl Constantine FOLKES 1935 (Portland)

Imagine this now:
Without the Non-physical
Having existence,
Nothing could ever exist.
That is plain metaphysics.

Singularity.
Is another expression
Of all energy
That is potential for Life
Of “Big Bang” made kinetic.

The two energies
Potential and Kinetic
Emerging as One
Is how life forms came about.
Physics of Non-physical.

A new science asked:
Physics of Non-physical.
A metaphysics.
Grand Theory of The All.
Of Nothing and Everything.

About this poem

A new and more advanced theory of general relativity is required to explain the origin of the universe. According to the standard theory, the universe sprang into existence as a “Big Bang” singularity around 13.7 billion years ago. But this Big Bang theory can only account for the manifest physical or material existence of a universe, or probably of an hypothetical multiverse, including its cosmic microwave manifestation in the form of electromagnetic radiation, that exists as a combination of matter and motion. Examined microscopically, it is recognized that “matter” in its largest metaphorical sense, includes elegant notions of “time,” “space,” “energy,” and “mass” which , themselves, appear as non-physical abstractions of combinations of inertia and “gravity” (itself, another abstraction); or of the physical and the non-physical properties of the universe. Ultimately, it is the interplay of “pure energy” (Potential Energy) and “particles” (Kinetic Energy), in conjunction with “radiated energy “ (Thermal Energy), that appears to bring life into its manifest existence. Clearly, a more robust Einstein’s scientific theory of the origin of the universe is required to more adequately account for the observed non-physical energy potential aspects (“Dark Matter”) that are apparently a-causal factors of an ever rapidly expanding universe.

I absolutely adored reading your poem, "The Metaphysical Origin of the Universe." Your deep dive into abstract concepts, such as the energy of life, the essence of existence, and the interconnectedness between physical and non-physical, all wrapped up nicely in a clear, poetic format, is truly impressive. The metaphysical exploration that you've woven into this poem is intriguing and it thoroughly engrossed me.

The way you teamed science with poetry creates a rare blend of factual creativity that is absorbing and intellectually stimulating. It is wonderful how you have given the scientific laws of energy- potential and kinetic, a metaphysical perspective. The phrase “Physics of Non-physical" is so thought-provoking, generating curiosity about the topics you've decided to explore. The stunning contrast 'Of Nothing and Everything' makes a reader pause and ponder over the universe's grandeur.

Regarding areas for improvement, while the poem is rich with abstract concepts, it might be helpful to introduce a tangible image or metaphor at some places to provide readers with a bridge towards understanding the larger concepts you are presenting.

Also, the flow of the poem might be smoother with the use of more consistent rhythmic or rhyming structures. This can add a lyrical quality to your work, making it not only thought-provoking but also pleasing to the ear when read aloud.

Lastly, maybe you could consider diving a bit deeper into the concept of the "Singularity." Exploring it more could provide the poem with more depth and provide readers with a better understanding of this complex term.

Overall, this is an inspirational piece that beautifully encapsulates the grandeur of the universe and its origins. Keep up the awe-inspiring work!

Indeed, you seem to have blended your extensive knowledge to create this new theory. You seamlessly erase the lines between science, spirituality, psychology to create a oneness. And then you write such an expressive poem!
