Ode to Earth

Oh Earth - how beautiful a planet you are,
The home of our entire generation.
However we are making you like a fading star,
With the growing greed of our nations.

We pollute your woods,
We take up land,
We overfish in your lakes.
We should use less goods,
Use electric energy as planned,
And give back what we used to take.
