Procrastination

I have a bad habit, I have to admit,
I avoid doing homework, as long as the due date permits.
Now here I am,
Writing my poems, at 1:52 am.
Looking up words that rhyme with permit
Counterfeit, hypocrite, you name it.
Catch up on poems, bit-by-bit.
Progress is slow, coffee is getting cold.
Clock ticks by, getting late.
I don’t plan on sleeping
I can’t think of topics, words, or rhymes.
I've forgotten how to speak english,
Can I give spanish a try?
