Headache

You’re just overdramatic

My parents said with a sigh

Even though my head did ache they called it a lie

You’re just overdramatic

As the bleeding starts to set in

But I can’t cry cause I’m already a sin

You’re just overdramatic

They said when they checked

But there was nothing there they said

And rubbed my sore head

You’re just overdramatic

I say to myself

As I lay my throbbing head on my soft pillow

I wasn’t overdramatic

I got the camera proof

I took a picture of the scabbing wound

I wasn’t overdramatic

My hair was dried in clumps

From all the blood around it

The table corner is what I bumped

You’re just overdramatic

They say yet again

It doesn’t hurt that bad

It’ll heal so go back to bed
