Weird House Cat

If the cat is black, why then i know his name
If my homework time it is, then Ninja comes.
He will sit upon my papers like a game
And will chew on each and all my tender thumbs.
And will sneak attack my pens.. It is so lame.
With my cat by me, I cannot do my sums
Oh, how will I claim space to do my work?
Why, by tossing a balloon to that black jerk
