Speaking Tones

Speaking Tones

In the audible world, many sounds are documents of life, maybe never to be heard again
Speaking tones, moving volumes of air, sounding worlds of meanings, lots of history there
Centuries of masked tensions, mountains of uncertainty, brushed aside by simple laughter

Blocking and blanking out everything, never hearing fire engine sirens inside our bodies
Absolutely everything happening in the world around us, is also happening inside of us
We gloriously study the most amazing things, never knowing our lives depend on them

Inside our real world bodies, gardens and enclaves of micro plants and animals flourish
Meanwhile, fake rules of the virtual worlds we created, are wearing thin, at times useless
Powered by the absolute addiction of money, propped up minds, lost in everyday reality

Tracking every penny, plotting out grand financial courses, from production to retirement
Pillaging and plundering the Natural World every day, never totaling the damages done
We are slovenly gate keepers of the heavens we live in, paying lip service to cries of life

Mother Nature uses quantum mechanics to crank open ordinary flower petals
Spinning off visions of tangential thoughts from our great quantum computerized minds
As powerful as jet planes, only they are parked in uneven fields, never taking to the skies
