Tick, Tick, Ticking

Always changing time in the world,
Sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse;
Will it ever stop tick, tick, ticking?
Or forever, will the sound keep ringing?
Ringing in my ears, forcing me to wonder,
Worrying my brain, causing me to ponder,
‘Cause if the clock won’t stop ticking today,
How does it expect my sanity to stay?
Time goes so slow when I just want it to past,
Then it goes so quick when I just want youth to last,
But forever and ever my ears will be ringing,
As the clock just continues, tick, tick, ticking.
