The Heist

A heist took place yesterday at the bank
When the alarms went off the thieves were gone
The officers thought this was all a prank
But the thieves had all of this drawn

At eight, five people with masks walked inside
Shots were fired to alert the bank workers
The thieves told the workers to override
The tech controlled by the banks headquarters

Then they tied up the customers and clerks
And then headed towards the banks main vault
At first they didn't how the mechanics worked
But, realized it was made of basalt

They drilled the vault until it was not closed
And left before the alarms were exposed

Interesting choice of rhymes, but the use of apostrophes and commas would set the theme much better in my opinion. Good nonetheless, I like the premise!
