Untitled

Inside there lies a heart of mine,
That won't for some reason seem to fly.
With broken wings, dark memories, surprises full of misery,
Held captive day after day it seems to be,
But when I hear the voice of he, the integrity I feel in me,
I visualize & then I see.
Better than ever before indeed, the was closed shut but now opened wide doors, I'm able to breathe.
Breath of fresh air the newness that's clean,
I walk towards the light that calls to be free,
Where there I have earned my crown & healed wings, & so it is time to move forward & let go of old things.
My heart has grown more inside & it brings,
No more brokenness or misery, but Goodness, Joy, Love, PEACE.

Chanel Wilkerson

I am a confident poet & a full-time Mom who believes & confesses that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. My works are very detailed, stylish, & unique ... & I inspire, encourage, & help motivate others to inspire, encourage, & help motivate others besides themselves. I highly & truly believe that through writing, a person's mind will be cleared & healed from any trauma that they may have faced in life. I have discovered that not only can writing bring healing, but it can also bring power & vision. If I were to give someone a positive word of advice & encouragement it would be ... Write down your vision & make it plain. When you have vision, you have power, & when your able to see clearly with the vision you put together you will overcome obstacles easily. more…
