Time

You’ve been around since before you were born,
you’ve recorded in your vast archives, every moment
from the biggest of bangs to the final explosion
and beyond

You are the greatest warrior,
in seconds people are born, and people will die,
you wait for no one, and
no one waits for you

There is no mystery, with an unknown answer,
all is known, and none can hide.
You’re the only thing,
marking differences from the ancients to us

The unbiased judge, the innocent bystander,
watching those suffer, and those succeed,
all indifferent, mere references,
in your endless traverse

As strong as time is coveted,
Bringing about the birth of the universe,
To the end of it,
and beyond

Watching wishes,
‘faster than wind’,
cease and desist,
and arouse

You've seen the world divide,
time and time again,
on the opinions or the beliefs
tormenting all with incessant pain

Yet you know the hidden truth,
all the pain, it's all in vain,
difference in just semblance
all is same beyond the veil
