Faith Can Move Mountains

                                    I Give Thanks
                                By Juliet Langsjoen
The gift of light shines so radiant and bright
I thank You this day for Your gift of the beautiful rays
And the sky so blue filled with big fluffy clouds
It makes me want to jump and shout aloud

As I run with the wind in my hair
I thank You God for the cool fresh air
And the water so still I can see my reflection
Thank You God for Your affection
His love is like a dove beautiful and wanted
But we must have faith
For it is only by grace that we have been saved

Even with death and tragic mishaps
You will always be there to comfort in the times that will pass

Remember, children of God, there will be a time when you will meet your maker
But do not fret
Because in heaven you will never be upset

This poem is here to inspire
I hope it sets your heart on fire
I hope the flames will burn so bright
I hope the flames will light up the dark and scary night

The sin of the world is heartbreaking and sad
But children of God, we must  not be mad
We must be strong and courageous
 God will not forsake
