Cats In Bags

Can you keep a secret?
Like a kitten wrapped in a bag.
Enough air to keep it alive.
Only your trapped lies
Ruin the final show.

Keep the kitten snug,
Loved and warm
No room for escape for the little bug.
The clown waltz;
He ends up crushing the bag
The foolish jester hurt the kitten
And the cats out of the bag.

A lie covered by another lie-
The show will never end.
The clown continues to dance
Because he brought another bag
"Please don't let the cat out again"
Love and warmth will keep it in;
Only let it breath every now and then.
