A Peaceful Home

Ode
A peaceful home soothes
The weary mind
Like a gentle sanctuary
To finally unwind

Away from suspicions,
Incessantly brought forth
By spirits in search
Of their lost True North

No ranting oration
Just quietude here
No fuss or frustration
Nirvana is near

Away from all gloom
Is this blanket of calm
This peaceable room:
A therapeutic balm

As I quietly enjoy
This absence of strife
The clock ticks away
The times of my life
