Rain Fangirl

The sweet sound of rain,
Some people say it’s pain,
The tippity tap,
The rappity rap,
Looking out the window I’m so glad it’s not snow!
Because the rain is a show,
As you look out on the street,
You can see the droplets go beat, beat, beat,
It’s such a feat!
I’m so glad it’s not heat!
As the storm begins to end,
I look around the bend,
I see a rainbow as the aftermath,
Of the soaking of the path,
As the sun starts rising I start hoping,
For the water that can cure the pain,
Of the grass that so desperately needs rain,
