ZOOMING

Terror zooming downwards
Beneath the blood moon's rays,
Like horrid swarming death
Coming at the end of days.

Whooshing through the skies
In a village known as Fear,
Apian horrors are looming
And death is coming near.

Loathsome feathered creatures
Throwbacks to primal times,
Come to torment the village
From some distant evil climes.

Ancient gliding reptilians
Swooping down upon human prey,
Killing all who journey nearby
Terrorising throughout the day.

Spectres from a bygone time
Returned to torment the town,
Sailing swiftly close overhead
Until they start sweeping down.

Terror zooming downwards
Towards some moving beast,
Diving rapidly in for the kill
For their loathsome feast.

Landing on the backs of prey
With abominable intent,
Ripping apart their victims
Foully rending the innocent.

In a village known as Fear
Winged monstrosities abound,
Perching upon the rooftops
Until lethally plunging down.
