Free verse
Patchwork tufts ruffling gusts
puffy belly icy slides
Crying plies past to present
reddish lady lays on sides
Gliding gazes maybe trusts
musts, swollen teats make pleasant

About this poem

This poem was writ whilst working in a den of deathly horrors, a super sporting's goods store, after which I had counted nearly 182 dead stuffed animals, including red fox, and after that very morning seeing a red fox in the backyard, which fox at first I misidentified as a possum due to its molting and heavy pregnant belly.
