One day, I will

One day, I will take you into my heart,
Let me tell you right away that,
There are no mirrors inside,
Lest you mistake the likeness of my heart,
For your reflection in the mirror.

One day, I will let you hold my heart,
Do not doubt your cognizance when,
The breeze that flows, the light that shines,
And the fragrance that lingers around,
Are not sensed at all distinct from you.

One day, I will let you listen to my heart,
Do not query your lips and ears when
The beats, music, and the love that flows,
And the smiles and stories that the heart holds,
Are precisely the ones that made up your heart!
