Once

Despite the tears running down my face, I find my strength, my inner grace. To be somebody that nobody liked, now I am nobody and I curse the old me. Together as on, together all alone, one body , one soul, one spirit,
will little you ever be?
I look at myself in the mirror, and vanity awaits. Time to kill the pain, that is dancing amongst this body, soul, and brain. The heart grows fonder do I ever listen? To all my ambitions , they fall down the wayside. Life happens and now I laugh, once I would cry, now joy fills my heart.
The pitter-patter of little feet, so happy to see you, so happy to greet.
Get sober and live life to the fullest. Your bright day has risen, the Lord above  has mercy as life among us happens.

About this poem

life happens! And we are full of emotions, our creative hearts have had no mercy because science rules.
