Unknown Grounding

Unknown Grounding

a solitary lead water pipe bringing water to outside toilet,  fifties underground, frost-proof eighteen inches buried down, embracing, stoking coal-fire to kindle propitiation, heating, glowing, peaked fishing nets cut up, tangled in trawlers in the open spaces, a loft room, saxophone soundings, toned blues, roadworthy in roadworks in waterworks, road submerged, water bursting through tar macadam, splashed on wild primroses the  front garden, Victorian house, tiled path,  precious tiles laid in porch entrance, the 263 bus passes, stops at Highbury, barn, half-moon shaped appearance rising in Bermondsey over Thames River, beams through Southwark cathedral, man digging earth bed flowers, weeds, wild garlic spreading into grass lawn patch, sunbathing chairs, blankets the horizon, purple red seeped windows across the skyline, clouds swelling, river flowing, moving forth around a half-crown shaped splitting beneath visitor's springs, a dance scene blazing, slicing, repeating, silence, a lead weight nestled deep below
