I love you

I love you

By: Al-Sayed Hassan
Translated into English by:
Hassan Hegazy (Egypt)

I love you:
Two sips of dew and an escaping gazelle
from the elusive time, came and inhabited
the limits of the dream in the brightness
of the horizon

I love you:
A verse ..
A forgiveness gaining to life her life
A morning dedicating to the birds their prayers
An inspiration teaching my stagnant heart
the verses of godliness.

I love you:
A bird whose longing for song rests
on his eyelids,
Singing a prayer of silence
in a melody performing his ablution with light.
When he sang, the heart melted in a song
and drowned in shyness.
He sang and awakened in existence his longing,
for justice, for faith,
For the universe to be rightly guided.

I love you:
 A mystical rosary
A tattoo on my heart with the taste of wishes

A glare tempting the eyes of her sparkle
about his light
A dream that gathers my scattered path
from the wandering diaspora

I love you:
 Giving the existence his being
The universe, the whole universe,
if it weren't for you, it will be in vain,
valueless
