Free verse
The unwashable blood
Smeared across my hands
Etched in my soul
I am the damned
Guilty, historic sins
Hear me repent
Unheard by all
I am the damned
Long laggardly days
A purgatory deserved
Wallowing in shame
I am the damned
Unwavering reminiscence
Future apprehension
Culpable soaked memoirs
I am the damned
