Late Night Talks

Late Night Talks
The way my mind races with thoughts of her
Her soul is water
Life, Care, Peace
Her emotions peak
Shifts as a moon throughout weeks.
Her soul is beautiful
Like the peaceful tranquility of a stream
Her mind flows with no limit she only grows
Living by what she knows.
It’s hard to say but I’m addicted
To her beautiful bright smile, peace
Her brain, life
Her soul, care
She is the warmest being alive
I can’t help but fall for her heart beating
No words can bring your kind of healing.
I've found no words for you
Except for these
You’ve changed me for the better
Done with such ease
Looking into the night sky to find the stars
My mind crosses you
Thinking back to the first time we met
Who knew?

About this poem

This was my first ever poem, which I became addicted to after my girlfriend introduced me to poetry and the absolute art in it
