Happiness is selfish

Why is it selfish to be happy
I feel like nothing without you
Life, why is it so crappy
Maybe my luck is overdue

I think about leaving all the time
I can't though, I'm stuck
When was joy a crime
Man that's just my luck

To have nobody who knows our hurt
It's a murderous premonition
I get to a point where I just burst
Why do I need permission

To have other feelings is my fantasy
To feel anything other than pain
I want to act naturally
Is there hope, I don't know so for now I remain
