The Five Senses of Life

Do you see the Navy Jets flying in the air? Do you see the clouds move as the breeze blows through the trees? Do you see the rainbow disco lights blink as the colors change?
This is the first of the five senses.

Do you hear the coyotes & wolves howl at night? Do you hear cats & dogs claw & fight with each other? Do you hear these thunderous raindrops fall as the storm rolls through town?
This is the second of the five senses.

Do you smell the honeysuckle flowers sitting outside your windows? Do you smell the pine trees in the woods while you camp out? Do you smell fresh laundry in the air?
This is the third of the five senses.

Can you touch the leaves of the trees in the woods? Can you touch the water from a pond or lagoon? Can you touch bird feathers or feathers from bed pillows?
This is the fourth of the five senses.

Can you taste the seasonings in the meals you make? Can you taste the sweetness or sourness of the candies or junk food you buy? Can you taste your favorite ice cream flavor?
This is the fifth of the five senses & the end of this poem.
