WHEN THE MOMENTUM SHIFT

I was being consumed
And droned out
By an uncontrolled
Amount of pressure
And chaos
The biggest question
That crossed
The mind of the people
Could I really be?
The monster that
My enemy
Has created
That everyone
Says I am

"WHEN THE MOMENTUM SHIFT"

The show
My enemy put on
Was a good one
It was very good
I mean
It almost
Convinced me
And
I lived
The majority of it
Its part of
My legacy
And my life
I have crossed paths
With so many people
So many people
Have probably
Been hurt by all this
Chaos

"WHEN THE MOMENTUM SHIFT"

I began to notice
Fragments of their
Storyline beginning to
Fall out of place
With my storyline
I mean
I talked to a lot of people
During these events
That beast
The horror
A monster
No I couldn't be

"WHEN THE MOMENTUM SHIFT"

I began
Putting pen
To paper
Tearing apart
Every portion
Of my enemy work
Given the people
My heart
And my thoughts
My life's work
Everyone began to
Question that notion
Of the Monster
Keeping it real
So the people
Could feel it
Especially when
You are trying
To deliver a
Detailed
And coded message
That only I
Hold the Key too..
