So Much To Say

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

So much to say in different ways.
With it wanted to wish,
Something said to hear again...
Is heard to begin to make some sense.

And if those words,
Come out of the mouths of the ones...
Patient and tolerant.
Without naming anyone,
Listening to be an ignoramus.
They will take the time,
To know and identify what ignorance is.
From their own experiences.
When defending the presence of stupidity.

Until they awakened to realize,
Living in denial attempting to hide...
A disguising of one's foolishness.
Is not an intelligent thing to do.
Nor healthy to a mind.
Portraying a wisdom defined as wise.

Especially...
Around many who will not admit,
Recuperating fools are quick to witness...
An ignorance visited 24/7 in public view.
Performed by the ones who believe...
Their acts of adolescent aging stupidity,
Is found to be humorous.
And...
To be observed laughing at themselves.
As if paying homage to their ancestry.
