The Hurt

Blank verse
The eyes can hide many hurts
The smile can hide a thousand stories
The laugh can cover the hurt the mouth wants to speak
The heart holds all....the heart heals but never really mends
The mind will ease but never forget

The soul is deep and dark but finds way to light
The light shines through as there was never a hole to begin....
The heart heals and the mind eases
But you will never forget....
