The World And You Are One.

You believe you are separate from the physical world
don't you?
You think you look OUT into the physical world, don't you?
But what if I suggested to you that this is a human error?
What if I suggested to you that YOU ARE the World that you SEE and that YOU are the Observer AND the Observed?
Would you reflect on these words?
Would you try to FEEL your CONNECTION with everything You SEE?
Even if You have NEVER thought this way before right now?
Even if You Believe that You are NOT One With Everything?
When You Breathe do You Feel your body drawing in your breath then returning it like the tide ebbs and flows at the seashore?
Or do you think it is just POOR LITTLE YOU that Life kicks around like a football?
When you GLIMPSE ONENESS you glimpse ACTUALITY and for a moment You STOP believing in the great illusion. The ILLUSION that You are Separate from everything else.
It has ruled most lives for thousands of years and it is a LIE.
The reality is this: EVERYTHING IS ONE. The great teachers of history did not lie.
They were ONE with everything and many of them said EXACTLY that.
Hindu and Buddhist and Christian Theology says just that. That EVERYTHING is ONE.
Tat Tvam Asi : Hindu ,meaning THOU ART THAT.
Christian: I and the Father Are One. The Father being EVERYTHING.
Buddhist: Life Is An Illusion Awakening is Reality.
While you read this I ask NO BELIEF
I ask only that You Give it your attention.
I ask That You Study For Yourself.
Only WHEN You Know this FOR YOURSELF will it be TRUE FOR YOU.
Physician,Heal Thyself.
May Peace Awaken Fully For All Beings Everywhere.

About this poem

In my study of philosophy that I still take an active interest in,it has gradually dawned that human beings have created all the divisions in culture and religion and political ideologies that exist in the world. My poem is a simple look at this and possibly a way to go beyond ones own ingrained habitual beliefs.
