Subterranean

What is this world of which you speak
Under the ground, beneath the peat
Where they wriggle, where they writhe
Soundless lips and sightless eyes

I want to come back as a worm
God, make me a worm
Have no senses, feel no pain
And when I'm done,
I'll be stamped on,
And never breathe again

'Did you eat today?'
Man I ate your mum's foot.
Passed by her grave
On my way to the pub
Just like a pig,
My home is the mud
And I digest greens like a good worm should.

The humans have something that they call gender
Guess they'd call me a gender bender
What is a girl, and what is a bro?
Is it the food you eat, or is it the clothes?

Well, I have no need for cloth or meat
I must have no sex, I am just me.
