My Mind

Ode
Hold me tight and don't let go
My mind is slipping out of control
Try to focus
Try to breath
The voice inside just wants to grieve
Tears role down, I feel secure
Sadness, the only feeling that has never let me down before
The weight is heavy the burden strong

Why can't i love myself?
Why can't I take control?
The demons have settled
My mind is there home
The only friend I have ever known.
