Easy Yet Hard

Easy Yet Hard 2008 (Grand Junction)

Not everything is easy in life,
I’m not saying it’s all hard.
I think that somethings may come easy,
But someone is always struggling.
Wether its your best friend, neighbor,
Or someone you don’t even know,
They’ll always be going through something,
But it may be hard to know.

I once saw this quote, it went something like this,
“The people who are hurting the worst,
Will always have the biggest smile on their face.”
I learned this is true,
And it came from experience.
I put a smile on for people
But alone I was sad.
I could go on forever;
So I think i’ll stop there.
But always remember this,
Someone is always there for you.

About this poem

I wrote this when I was struggling so that maybe I could encourage myself and someday submit it so that I could encourage others, too!
