Drunkeness

Drunkeness

It is better to be idle than drunk
Atleast you are sober and not a skunk
Who unconsciously does many wrongs
To get up the next day and behave like a monk
Who can only remember his last night's fun.

Oh Alcohol, man's enemy
That pretends to be friendly
Triggers the heart and uncovers all secrecy
Sucks out man's youth and energy
Then throws him empty!

Made for man's pleasure
Taking without measure
Scatters all his treasure
You pity no one, you're heartless!

Divides bone and marrow, brings out the beast.
