Uncomfortably Silent (TW for mention of SA)

I plead in my head
For them to stop
As a male hugs me
Or rests their hand
On my shoulder
Or gives me a high-five
Or something,
Tensing up in
Fictional apprehension
As if they’ll end up
Violating me.
I should know they probably won’t,
But why am I so afraid?

It really sucks dealing with this constant fear.
