A DARK AND FEARSOME PLACE

A dark and fearsome place
Where only terror thrives,
Stinging, biting, snapping things
Swarm from monstrous hives.

A town named desolation where
Only loathsome things reside,
Creatures straight out of Hell
Creeping, crawling horrors hide.

Banshees shrieking after dark
Signalling some coming death,
Only abominations now dwell
Nothing remotely good is left.

Loathsome beings lurking
Slimy mutants are crawling,
While in the dreadful night
Misshapen beasts are calling.

Foulness fills the township
Soon after darkness falls,
And evil carouses outside
After twilight death, it calls.

A dark and fearsome place
Nothing wholesome is known,
Leviathans crashing around
Through alleyways and homes.

Death lurks at every corner
Waiting for late-night walkers,
Unaware of danger nears
Followed by horrid stalkers.

Colossuses rule this town now
Now hope is found nowhere,
Wingbeats fill the awful night
Avian fiends soar through the air.
