Outside the Lines

Mariah Lichty 1995 (North Dakota)

Rolling,
you find my flesh an invitation,
evoke endless moans of anticipation
with your touch,
I am unending -
a canvas painted with your fingerprints.
Smear your colors across
the surface of my skin
and know that our dance
will imprint memories
with every thrust of lust filled desire.
Trace my outline with the salt
that spills from our pores
and
get ready to create a masterpiece
from the fevered red lines
I leave on your back.

Say yes to the thought of our samba,
a libido limbo to rock n roll.
Get tangled in my tights
as you dive between my thighs,
a 34 plus 35 solution to
problems of pleasure.
I am lost to the melody of your music,
how the song says "hit it like a side chick",
pearl clutching scandal
stuck in smooth slick
as we click into place like
the seatbelt I'll need to ride it.

Sorry,
got a little off topic,
can't help it.
You're the best distraction I know.
Help me spin and twist
to the two step tango,
tattoo our rhythms on paper
and color outside the lines.
Be wild with me,
a water color movement of fluidity
confined to the party
between your sheets.
