Eat.

Eat.
All i have to do is take a bite
All i have to do is eat the damn sandwich
But my throat is getting tight
The chewing feels like i'm chewing glass
Eat the damn sandwich

The glass goes down
The guilt comes up
After we can feel the pain
After we can take the blade again
If you just eat the damn sandwich

So you eat the sandwich
Are you proud of yourself?
Are you proud the scale is going to have an extra pound now
Go in your room and lock the door
Grab the blade from the floor

Are you proud of yourself?
Couldn't even eat one sandwich without putting 1… 2… 3… cuts right on the thigh
The thigh that the fat of that sandwich will to go
The thigh that has become a cutting board to you
Are you proud of yourself?

Next the wrist
The stomach
The shoulder
The ankle
Are you proud of yourself?

The scars will be there for life
Cause you couldn’t say no to that knife
The scars people will ask about
And when the do all you want to do is shout
I'm not proud

Eat, they say.
