Light Story

Light and Luminescence
Stared at me
From out of the
Corners of their eyes
And they ran swiftly
Toward me and scooped me up
And took me away
To their homeplace of the Sun.
I sat in a
Fluffy white cloud chair,
Bound up in
Golden glowing Sunbeams
As rays of Sunlight
Blinded my eyes.
But soon
I began to trust them
And accept their warm ways.
They let me decide
If I wanted to stay or go
And I knew the answer
Was in my heart,
So I said that I would
Stay for a while.
They accepted me warmly,
Their golden eyes glowing
With the warm rays of The Sun,
And I knew I had found
My friends at last.
