At This Moment

Dianea Dickens 1981 (Beckley)

AT THIS MOMENT
As the sea breeze flows, and it's hitting your face
All you can do is embrace that peaceful moment, all you can do is enjoy this time and place.
You feel the peace and comfort as you hear the waves crashing down
Everything that seemed so troubling at this moment is nowhere to be found.
It's times like these that you wish could last forever, even a lifetime
Soaking in every sun ray, feeling the warmth touch your skin, and the sand under your feet.
You exhale all the emotions, of every little thing that had gone wrong, and you finally smile.
You're surrounded by people but right now at this moment you notice nothing Everything just seems completely and utterly wonderful, as you release every stress, every thought into the ocean of forget.
You leave the past there where you stand, and you start a new journey, never looking back at what once was or how things were.
At this moment you have overcome all obstacles, you are now healing and happier than you could have ever been.
You bring out that inner child while dancing around in circles, laughing and enjoying every devine step you take.
Looking up into the sky and thanking God for everything that this moment has given you.
