Don't Know What I Want

I don’t know what I want.
Do I choose the light or dark,
The life or death?
I want to stay in my darkened soul
But I also need the light.
I want to stay
Forever in the dark
Because I’m afraid of getting a sunburn,
But I also want to finally
Return to the light.
It’s so hard
So what do I choose?
What should I do?
This difficult choice I make
Will forever be with me.
I don’t know what I want,
Either the light or death.
